Candy Couture Forums

Lay & Toya's House: This is certainly my baby. Its one of the first forum I've started (most likely the first) and personally put effort into. I closed it down due to a huge decline in activity. It was a forum for all Hip Hop/R&B/Entertainment Lovers... to get a good laugh anyway.

All LeBron!: Why not do a fan forum about the #1 player in the NBA right now... LeBron James! I love this guy. I may be his #1 fan. Does it show?

The Board!: This was a spinoff of Lay & Toya's House. Actually I think I created this forum BEFORE I created LATH. I dont remember anymore. It was supposed to be a fan forum for all of the little girls (like myself at the time) who were in love with D' Smoove of the R&B/Pop group 3rd Storee! But that never happened since I couldn't find my old friends from the 3rd Storee message board... oh well! I later turned the board into another general, entertainment forum. Hence, it being a sort of spin-off of LATH.

Another Chapter: This forum has gone through so many name changes for the simple fact that the group itself had gone through numerous name changes. After debuting in 1999 3rd Storee made a major comeback in 2002 with their hit single "Get Wit Me". I became enfatuated. I joined the group of fans and kind of never really left. They've been sort of MIA since. But Doing quite well. Constant management and group member changes... caused them to not be in the press as much. But later in 2006, emerging as a new group entirely, as "Chapter 4" with a single called "Fool With You". Still no album and no news. Hence why the forum is CLOSED!

Princess Inc.: The forum that I kind of grew out of. I think that because I was growing and wanted to do a forum for the younger girl, it just didn't make any sense to keep it open. I had nothing in common with those of that demographic. It was fun while it lasted.

Boyz: Strangely, when I search this forum in Google, the first hits go to alot of homosexual boy on boy sites. I thought that naming a forum "Boyz" and having it be a portal for all of the hot guys in Pop music today, it would be amongst the highest rated on google... and the only one of its name. Not at all. I closed it down mainly because people just didn't get it. And frankly, neither did I.

Brandy Central: This forum went through so many facelifts its not even funny. It was supposed to be (actually was) the first and only TRANSPARENT Brandy Norwood fan forum. It worked for a while when people started complaining about not being able to read the content. So I changed it. But when I did, things began to go down hill. Oddly enough, it still remains on some peoples list for "best Brandy fansite"... I wonder why?

Oh So Pretty (Formally Sparkle Fans- Pretty Ricky): The BIGGEST forum in the history of my ProBoards career (if thats even applicable). I've garnered over 2,000 members! All off of the success of a very hot R&B group called Pretty Ricky! Who would have ever thought that a foursome of brothers with minimal talent could garner so many fans? I mean I know I didn't.

Miss: The dearest forum to me. I started this forum as a spinoff of Princess Inc. but targeted older females in the 16-22 year old crowd. It's a success in progress. But besides LATH, I'd say that it's definately one of my dearest forums because I worked so hard on it and it means alot to help young females today. Call it a feminist movement... but its more of a youth empowerment movement! I named the forum after a pageant in NY (my hometown) and a new emerging R&B group called "Missez".

Other Forums

Here's work that I've done as a request from other admins or independently... Just being nice.

Crazii~Uniique: A new forum for the teeny boppers. I was just browsing on ProBoards & the admin had posted her advertisment for her forum. I checked it out and thought "Wow... this reminds me of Lay & Toya's House when I first started." So I gave them a layout! Yeah I know, it was very sweet of me to do that... I had to, I wanted so desperately to know how to make a forum that looked nice & didn't know how. People helped me, but sometimes not in the way that I had wanted. So I extended my services to them. No fee. It was a gift. I saw myself in that young admin. So I guess you can say it was a gift to myself...?

NOTE: I think they may have changed the name after I made the skin and they finally received it. Not sure.

Pretty In Pink: Another all girls forum. I guess its no secret that I work well with forums or graphics that pertain to females. I guess its a business that I suppose I should tap into. Its very easy... I mean I am a female and should know what other females like. Besides, I think that the layout came out rather neat.

Pacific Vista High: WOW! What a forum right? Thats what I thought. The finished product was just supposed to be a few things instead I was amazed even at my makeshift banner. Sometimes, less is more. Less says a lot more than a lot of things at one time. Anyway, Pacific Vista High is an RP, assuming about high school, lol. The admin is a great person, so I couldn't resist making this skin upon request.
